I’m Naomi

I have created Kasi Therapies to support people to live their best life. I believe that life is beautiful.  It’s also chaotic and it’s messy, raw and real and then it can be expansive and amazing again: but sometimes it’s just, hard… While we live within networks and communities - even when we’re surrounded by people we can still feel like we’re alone - yet we’re not meant to work everything out on our own!

So many experiences are woven throughout my life that bring me to this point in time: study, training and work; growing flowers, veggies and a family of three beautiful boys. I have surfed and traveled widely, landing on the beautiful south coast of NSW in the Milton-Ulladulla area with an amazing community of friends. There is room here to play outside in nature for days and I feel so lucky to be here!  I have had my challenges and also been blessed with incredible mentors, teachers and people who have believed in me along the way.

I bring ALL OF IT to my world view and my work. I’m here to support you on your journey, bringing the tools and strategies I have learned in my training and my life as an offering.

I work out of a beautiful studio in Milton, a shared space that I cohabit - created with attention to detail and love by Monica of Wyld Spaces.

My Approach:

My clinical work is client-centred and trauma-informed: with a decolonising approach integral to my practice.

I am a strengths-based practitioner and I believe that everyone has their own unique wisdom and knowledge about what they need to do to thrive. It is my role to support people who come to see me to develop their strengths while finding ways to scaffold supports around the parts of their life that are not working.

I believe that sometimes we can all use an objective viewer to point out where we might need to pivot in our approach, and a source of new strategies to apply to challenges in life.

I am constantly reading, researching and pursuing further training and professional development to expand on my knowledge base because I love this work. Creativity and a reverence for nature are woven throughout my approach, with a lifelong love of art, music and exploring natural environments integral to who I am.

I am endlessly curious and fascinated by the complexity, the perfection and the imperfection that makes us human.
